There two forms to write an equation in; slope-intercept form, y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept; and point-slope form, which is given by
y-y_1=m(x-x_1), where m is the slope and (x₁, y₁) is a point on the line. Given the information and instructions you have I assume you need point-slope form. For #1, you have m = 2 and point (3, 5). Substitute these values in:

y-5=2(x-3)
If you need slope-intercept form, you start by using the distributive property on what you just wrote:

y-5=2*x-2*3 \\y-5=2x-6
Now cancel the 5 to isolate y:

y-5+5=2x-6+5 \\y=2x-1
