Find the supplement to the angle whose measure is 70 degrees. Show all your work

Supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees. Suppose the supplement of 70 degrees is x.
therefore the sum of our angles will be:
x+70=180
solving for x we get:
x=180-70
x=80°
hence the value of the supplement of 70° is 80°
