Since whole numbers are positive integers, then it follows that a positive integer multiplied by 1.2 will be greater than the original by 20%.

I can only use math to explain it. What is 100%?
100% =
(100)/(100)
percent means per 100.
so 120% = 120/100 = 1.2
120% of a whole number. For example 120% * 10 =
(120)/(100) * 10 = 12
is it greater than 10.
