2 * 4 + 8/7 - 2/5 (3 + 8) =

= 8 + 8/7 - 2/5 * 11

= 8 + 8/7 - 22/5

The LCD is 35.
We multiply the first fraction by 35/35, the second fraction by 5/5, and the third fraction by 7/7 to have a common denominator.

= 280/35 + 40/35 - 154/35

= 166/35

= 4 26/35

Hey there Banana!

simplify \ \frac{2}5} \\ \\ (8+ (8)/(7))-( (2)/(5) *11) \\ \\ simplify \ (8)/(7) \\ \\ (8*7+8)/(7) = (64)/(7) \\ \\ \\ (L \ Mult \ *R \ num)/(L.C.M) * (64*5)/(35) \\ \\ (64*5-(22-7))/(35) = (166)/(35) \\ \\ (final \ result) \\ \\ \boxed{\boxed{ (166)/(35) =(4.74286)}} \\ \\ Hope \ this \ helps \ you!
