-3 ( d+5) > 27
Expand the inequality
-3d-15>27
Add 15 to both sides
-3d > 42
Divide both sides by 3.
-d > 14
Multiply both sides by -1 and reverse the inequality
- 1 x -d < -1 x 14
d< -14
Answer: d< -14
