In a class of 116 students, the number of boys is three times the number of girls. How many boys and how many girls are in the class?

Hey there! :D

If there are 3 times as many boys than girls:

3+1=4

116/4= 29

29*3= 87

29*1= 29

There are 87 boys and 29 girls.
