The first one is a choice. Dickens always educates or entertains with his descriptions.

For sure you want to put characters in situations What else can you do?

Characters talking to each other always reveals something about both of them.

The last one and the second one are much the same thing.

Answer: leave out the 3rd one. Accept all the rest.
