The difference between an algebraic equation and an algebraic expression...

An algebraic expression is something you evaluate.
Example) 2x+3x

An algebraic equation is something you solve
Example) 2x+1=5

Do you see the difference? One has an equal sign, and one doesn't.

Best of luck!
