This is the same thing as GCF for whole numbers, but all you do is add the variable in.
First list all factors of 38 and 26.
26: 1, 2, 13, 26
38: 1, 2, 19, 38
So the greatest common factor is 2.
That means that the GCF for 38m and 26m is 2m.
