.16 because it is a decimal, decimals are rational but can't be an integer because an integer is a negative or a positive whole number

-A rational number is defined as any number that can be written in the form of a/b where:
a and b are both integers
b is not equal to zero

-An integer is defined as a positive or negative whole number. This means that fractions and decimals are not integers

Based on the above, a fraction is considered a rational number but not an integer.
Examples: 1/2 , 2/5 , 1/10 , .... etc
