Use F.O.I.L.
First
Outside
Inside
Last

First is 4s * s
4s * s = 4s^2

Outside is 4s *3
4s * 3 = 12s

Inside is 2 * s
2 * s = 2s

Last is 2*3
2 *3 is 6

Now arrange them in that order
4s^2 + 12s + 2s +6

as you can see, we can simplify this equation even more, as there are to things multiplied by s

We add 12s and 2s to make 14s

Your answer is 4s^2 + 14s + 6

Hope I helped!
