The process of urbanization in America starts in the year of 1920’s and up where 50% of Americans move into urban areas because white-collar jobs such as law enforcement and public service became more popular than jobs like mining and farming.
Moreover, the invention of automobile speeds up urbanization because people were traveling farther and more frequently. It also produced industries like gas stations, automobile repairs and hotels, where it change the country’s economic stability and made American life much easier.
