An arrow shot into the air is 160t -16^2 feet above the ground t is seconds after it is released. During what period of time is the arrow above 384 feet?

We know that the equation would have to equal 384 in this sense.
160t-16²=384; We want to find t, so we have to have t by itself.
160t-256=384
+256
160t= 640
640÷160=4=t
Let's make sure t is 4, so let's plug it in.
160(4)-16²=384
640-256=384
384=384
So, at 4 seconds, the arrow was above 384 feet.
