The results of the Crusades.

Additionally, Pope Urban II announced for all Christians to consolidate and war with the Muslims to recapture charge of the Holy fields. After four Crusades, the Muslims gained the power of the Holy Lands. Though, the Crusades ended in enhanced business in Europe and the expansion of towns. The whole composition of European culture transformed through the 12th and 13th centuries, and there was a period when this transition was associated broadly with the Crusades. Historians presently, though, manage to observe the Crusades as just one, albeit important, a circumstance in Europe's construction.

Some important results of the Christian crusades in Europe were that Italy was united into one nation, the Turks lost interest in Constantinople, serfdome declined in western Europe and the Roman and Greek churches were united. I thought that the Crusades helped to unite Italy but at least they fostered trade between Italy and the muslim countries, spurred shipbuilding and gave impetus to the development of banking facilities so I believe these factors probably favored greater unity of the nation of Italy. The hegemony of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy as a result of the crusades would most likely increase Italian unity as well.
