Answer:

Volume of right circular cylinder(V) is given by:

V = \pi r^2h ......[1]

where,

r is the radius of the cylinder

h is the height of the cylinder.

As per the statement:

A right circular cylinder with a diameter at 46.25 cm and a height of 18.5 m

⇒diameter(d) = 46.25 cm and height(h) = 18.5 cm

We know that:

diameter(d) = 2r

then;

46.25 = 2r

Divide both sides by 2 we have;

23.125 = r

or

r = 23.125 cm

Substitute these given values in [1] we have;

Use
\pi = 3.14

V = 3.14 \cdot (23.125)^2 \cdot 18.5

V = 31,064.5351 cm^3

Therefore, the volume of a right circular cylinder to the nearest hundredth is, 31,064.54 cubic centimeters.

We use the definition of the volume again of the cylinder.
V = pi * r ^ 2 * h
Where
r: radio
h: height
Also we have:
r = d / 2
Where
d: diameter.
Substituting values:
V = pi * ((d / 2) ^ 2) * h
V = (3.14) * ((46.25 / 2) ^ 2) * 18.5
V = 31064.5352
Answer:
The volume of a right circular cylinder is:
V = 31064.54 cm ^ 3
