A=pi(r)^2 just divide the diameter in half to get the radius

The formula for the area of a circle is A=pi r squared
Divide 24 by 2 to get the radius or r.
12 squared by pi or 2.14
12 squared = 144
144 times 2.14 = the area
A = 452.39
