ab + bc + b² + ac =
(b
² + bc)+(ab + ac) =
b(b+ c)+a(b + с) =

(ab + b^2) + (bc + ac).

{So we can get the terms with the same variables together}

Factoring out the GCF from each term:

b(a + b) + c(a + b).

Then, factoring out a + b yields:

(a + b)(b + c).

I hope this helps!
