because when a white light goes through a clear object like the glass pyrimide it divides into the different color lights the different color lights travel in different speeds like the red light traveles faster that the purple light thats why on a rainbow the red is on the top and purple is on the bottom

Answer:

Green light has smaller wavelength than that of orange light.

Step-by-step explanation:

The wavelength of green light is 510 nm ,while that of orange light is 590 nm.

According to equation

v=f*λ

v∞λ

velocity or speed is directly proportional to wavelength,hence green slows more than orange light because wavelength of green light is smaller than that of orange light.
