Which lobe of the cerebral cortex is most directly involved in touch and body position?

The lobe in the cerebral cortex which corresponds to the touch and body position is the Parietal Lobe. It is placed in the middle portion of the brain. A part of the brain called somatosensory cortex is situated in this lobe which is important in dealing the body’s senses.
