Richard Nixon was the 37th president of the United States of America. He was sworn into office on January, 1969 and he resigned on August, 1974. While in office, he accomplished many things, including appointing four supreme court justices, he visited the people Republic of China, he traveled to Moscow and he also resigned while in office. Richard Nixon resigned in order to prevent been impeached while in the office. He was the first American president to do so.
