A. it is half the perimeter/circumference of a circle and the equation for circumference it’s pi times the diameter. so divide the diameter by 2 because it is a semicircle to get 32. 32(3.14) = 100.48

The perimeter (circumference) a full circle is given by:

C _f = 2 \pi r

A semi-circle is half a circle, so it has half the circumference. We can just multiply the circle's circumference by 2 to get a semi-circle's perimeter's equation, which is:

C_(sc) = (1)/(2)(2 \pi r) = \pi r

We are given the diameter which is twice as big as the radius. So, we can divide that by 2 as well to get the radius. Hence, the radius is 32. Plug in numbers:

C_(sm) = \pi 32 = 100.48

So, the perimeter of the semicircle is 100.48m.
