1. That is a right triangle, what means that it has a angle of 90°, so you can calculate the value of "x" "as below:

Tan(α)=Opposite leg/Adjacent leg

The angle α is 60°, so the opposite leg is "x" and the adjacent leg is 5.

2. When you substitue these values, you have:

Tan(α)=Opposite leg/Adjacent leg
Tan(60°)=x/5
x=(5)(Tan(60°)
x=5√3

Then, the answer is: The value of "x" is 5√3
