D is your answer. it gives a more specific answer than the other choices, plus it is true. Slavery has been around since Jesus time, so that's way longer than the 1500s

The correct answer is D). It had existed all over the world in various forms for thousands of years.

An accurate statement about slavery is that it had existed all over the world in various forms for thousands of years.

Slavery is an ancient problem, as old as humanity on Earth. If you refer to the Bible, there are many passages with references to slavery. In Babylon, it is said that the Ziggurats were built by slaves. The same happened with the construction of the pyramids of Egypt. There are many stories of Egyptian emperors that captured enemies’ slaves and were taken to Giza, Egypt.

The Roman Empire has stories of rich people owning slaves, as well as slaves after the conquest of the New World, until the slavery times in the United States.
