8. g(x) = 3f(x +2)
.. 3 represents a vertical expansion factor of 3
.. 2 represents a left shift of 2 units

9. g(x) = -2f(x)
.. 2 represents a vertical expansion factor of 2
.. the minus sign is a reflection across the x-axis

10. g(x) = f(x -1) +3
.. 3 represents a vertical shift upward by 3 units
.. -1 represent s right shift of 1 unit
