Is the product of 2x-1 and 2x+6 equal to the product of 1x-2 and 6+2x? Explain your answer.

(2x-1)(2x+6) = 4x^2-2x+12x-6 = 4x^2+10x-6. It does not equal [tex](x-2)(2x+6) because when the constant is expanded, it isn't the same as the original quadratic.
