To find the area of a triangle use the area formula of a triangle which is,
A = HB/2

H is the Height and B is the Base of the triangle. Plug in the information to the formula to get:

A = 5 × 9 / 2
A = 45 / 2
A = 22.5

The area of the triangle would be 22.5 (I hope this helps)

Area = 1/2 b * h
b = 9
h = 5
Area = 1/2 5 * 9
Area = 1/2 45
Area = 22.5 cm^2
