Velocity = wavelength * frequency,
frequency = velocity/wavelength,
230/2.1,
109.5 Hz

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

The frequency of the wave is 109.52 Hz.

Explanation:

Given : A wave traveling at 230 m/sec has a wavelength of 2.1 meters.

To find : What is the frequency of the wave?

Solution :

We know that,

\text{Velocity} =\text{ Wavelength}* \text{Frequency}

We have given,

Velocity of wave is 230 m/s.

Wavelength is 2.1 meters.

Substitute in formula,

230 =2.1* \text{Frequency}

\text{Frequency}=(230)/(2.1)

\text{Frequency}=109.52

Therefore, The frequency of the wave is 109.52 Hz.
