◆ TRIANGLES ◆

we \: know \: that \: \: , \\ \\ area \: of \: triangle \: = (1)/(2) * base * height \\ \\ or \: ,area \: of \: triangle \: = (1)/(2) * base * perpendicular \\ \\ here \: , \\ base = 6 \: in \\ perpendicular = 8 \: in \\ hypotenuse = 10 \: in \: \\ \\ therefore \: \: , \: \\ area \: of \: triangle \: = (1)/(2) * 6 * 8 \\ \\ = 24 \: {in}^(2) \: \: \: \: \: ans.

Area of a triangle = 1/2 b h
where b is the base and h is the height
base = 6 in and height = 8 in
Area = 1/2 ×6×8
= 24 square inches
Therefore, the area of the triangle is 24 square inches
