Answer:

1(2)/(5) gallon of milk is needed to make one gallon of ice cream

Explanation:

Using unitary method,

Unitary method is a method use to find the value of a unit quantity.

6\frac{3} {10} gallon of milk needed to make
4(1)/(2) gallon of milk

(63)/(10) gallon of milk needed to make
(9)/(2) gallon of ice cream

One gallon of ice cream needed =
(63)/(10) * (2)/(9) gallon of milk

=
(7)/(5) gallon of milk

=
1(2)/(5) gallon of milk

Thus,
1(2)/(5) gallon of milk is needed to make one gallon of ice cream.
