This figure consist of two figures

1). One quadrilateral

2). One semicircle

Now to get the area of total figure

= Area of triangle + area of semicircle

1). Area of quadrilateral = length × width

= √(3-1)²+(1-2)² × √(3-1)²+(1+3)² = √(4 + 1) ×√(4 + 16) = √5×2√5 = 10

2) Area of semicircle = (1/2)πr²

Radius of the circle = (1/2)√(3-1)²+(1+3)² = (1/2)√(4 + 16) = (1/2)(√20)

r = √5

Area of semicircle = (1/2).(π).(√5)² = (1/2).(3.14)(5) = 7.85

Area of the total figure = 10 + 7.85 = 17.85 ≈ 17.9 units²
