x^2 - 10x + 25

Alpha = -b/2a = 10/2*1 = 5

Delta = b^2 - 4ac = (-10)^2 - 4*1*25 = 0

Beta = -delta/4a = 0/4*5 = 0/20 = 0

Therefore, the factor form would be :
(x-5)²

Hope this helps !

Answer:

(x-5)²

Explanation:

To factor this

x² - 10x + 25.

We are going to look for two numbers such that its sum is equal to -10 and its product is equal to 25

The two numbers are -5 and -5

The sum of -5 and -5 is -10

and the product of -5 and -5 is 25

We will then replace -10x by -5x-5x

x² - 5x -5x + 25

(x² - 5x )(-5x + 25)

We can now go ahead and factorize

x (x-5) - 5(x-5)

=(x - 5)(x-5)

=(x-5)²
