After you have discovered your career path, it is important that you;

a. seek out backup plans
b. commit to that path
c. wait until an opportunity knocks on your door
d give up if it doesnt work out as soon as you wanted

B in my option you should always have a back up plan but it's also very important to commit when you've found something that you enjoy and are capable of doing.

The answer is: b. commit to that path

For most people, it took a loot of time efforts to be finally successful in one career path. (since it is not easy to build connections and consumer base)

If you choose to change career path in the middle, you would ,most likely have to restart your progress from zero. So, committing to one specific path has the best chance of making you financially stable before you enter retirement age.
