We are provided the volume of cone and its radius and we have to find the height of the cone. The volume of the cone can be expressed as:


V = (1)/(3) \pi r^(2)h

From here, we can eliminate h on one side:


h= (3V)/( \pi r^(2) )

Using the values in above equation, we get:


h= (3*113.04)/(3.14*9) = 12 inches

So the first option is correct i.e. h = 12 inches
