The fellahin is a group of people who are considered peasants, farmers, or agricultural workers located in North Africa and the Middle East.  With this in mind, they mostly eat crops, vegetables, and fresh produce instead of meat products.  In comparison to city dwellers, the fellahin have good nutrition because urban residents mostly eat meat and have poor eating habits due to the presence of fast food chains.
