G, 7 is the flat rate price you have to pay and 3.50 is the price for rides since we don’t know the number of time he will ride we will have to times 3.50 to the amount of times he go’s on a ride

Hello!

The expression that represents the total amount of money Franz will spend on admission and rides if he purchases x tickets is G. 7 + 3.50x.

Explanation:

That expression is a 'mathematical phrase' and it simply means that the admission price is $7 and that won't change, and the rides cost $3.50 each and the variable 'x' has been used for that because we don't know how many tickets Franz will buy.
He gets to decide that.
