(10x - 20) = (6x + 8)

(10x-20)= (6x+8) subtract 6 from each side
(4x-20)=(+8) add 20 to each side
(4x)=(28) divide both sides by 4
x= 7

10x-20 = 6x+8

10x = 6x+28

4x = 28

x = 28/4

x = 7
