So based on the knowledge of DDT Biomagnification, the fish eating birds would contains the most mercury in the contaminated lake. Biomagnification is the process of increase in the concentration of toxic chemical in the organisms and this process can be avoided by the use of toxic chemical pesticides in the water system and consume organic foods.
