m<2 + m<3 = 90

2x - 5 + 4x - 13 = 90

6x - 18 = 90

6x = 108

x = 18

m<2 = 2x - 5 = 2(18) - 5 = 36 - 5 = 31

m<3 = 4x - 13 = 4(18) - 13 = 72 - 13 = 59

Answers:
x = 18
m<2 = 31
m<3 = 59

since the angle under angle 3 is a right angle (because of the little orange square) we can assume that angle 3 plus angle 2 equals 90 degrees. so
(2x - 5) + (4x - 13) = 90
6x - 18 = 90
6x = 108
x = 18
measure of angle 2 = 36 - 5 = 31
measure of angle 3 = 72-13 = 59
