As a little boy King lived in Atlanta, Georgia. His father was a minister of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. King’s friend was a white boy and they played all the time until school season rolled around and they were forced to go to segregated schools. After the first day of school they were not allowed to play together.

- I hope that helped. :)
