How did the world wars lead to resentment in Africa

Many Africans were sent to fight in WWI and WWII and when they came back they were not compensated properly, and this his create a tension between African nations and the Europeans that asked for their help.
On top of that, many nations took out a lot of African's resource to create their war supplies and create an economic blowback for the Africans.
