For us to have 7 × a
- - - = 7
b

Then a must be equal to be ( both a and b must have the same magnitude)

For instance 7 × 2/2 = 7×1 = 7

7× 3/3 = 7 ×1 = 7

7×123456789/123456789 = 7×1 = 7

Since we've established that a and b must have the same magnitude... Someone else might say; (now am talking about the relationship between a and b)
a/b must be equal to 1...
And if a/b = 1 (cross multiply)
You'll have a=b...

Hope this helped...?
