1. Where is this organism found?
The European rabbit can be found Australia, Southwestern Europe, and Northwest Africa but they are native to Southwestern Europe and Northwest Africa.

2. How was this organism transported to its new ecosystem? Was it intentionally transported, and if so, for what reason?
There are many reasons but two is because of the ice age and the Romans brought them to Italy for food.

3. Why is this organism able to spread so rapidly in its new ecosystem?
Well, in Australia they don't have many natural predators.

hat is the effect of this organism on the ecosystem’s current food web?
They caused famines by destroying crop yields and even collapsed trees and houses with their burrowing.

5. Is this organism affecting the lives of humans? If so, how?
Yes, because they destroy crops which lead to lack of crops for farmers and their families.

6. Are there any plans for controlling or removing this organism?
They petitioned to send troops to curb the rabbit population with the help of ferrets.
