Sheena wants to measure the volume of a ball that is 24cm across. how should she set up her equation

The formula for the volume of a sphere is: V = (4/3)π r^3
But you only know the diameter that being 24 cm.
The easiest thing to do is to divide by 2 to get the radius. r = 12
Then plug that in: V = (4/3)π 12^3
