The functions f(x) and g(x) are shown below: f(x) = 0.05x g(x) = (0.05)x Which statement best describes the graph of f(x) and g(x)? (1 point) The graph of g(x) will eventually exceed the graph of f(x). The graph of f(x) will eventually exceed the graph of g(x). The graphs will both have their y-intercept equal to 1. Answer: The graph of f(x) will eventually exceed the graph of g(x).

Explanation:

Given Functions are, f(x)= 0.05x

And, g(x)=
(0.05)^x

Since, the y-intercept of function f(x) is (0,0)

While the y-intercept of g(x) is (0,1)

Therefore, Third and fourth options can not be correct.

Let
y_1=f(x) and
y_2=g(x)

Now, According to the below table we can say that for the different values of x, the value of f(x) is increasing while the values of g(x) is decreasing.

Therefore we can say that the growth of f(x) is greater than g(x) and eventually the graph of f(x) will exceed the graph of g(x).

Thus, Only Option Second is correct.
