Answer:

She can buy 13 bananas

Explanation:

She has 11.75 and each banana costs .89

Start by dividing 11.75/.89 = 13.20

She will be able to buy 13 bananas total since she cannot buy a portion of a banana (0.2) so she will just have some leftover change.

If each bannana costs .89 cents, and she has 11.75, (Assuming for the banannas), You would do something like this:

11.75 (or 1175, just personal preferance)

11.75 divided by 0.89 = about 13.2

Assuming she is not buying 13 and 1/5 of a bannana, the answer would be about 13 banannas.

Hope this helps!
