Answer:

Hello!!!!!!!!

The answer to this problem is 20cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

All I did to get the answer was to divide the measure of AC and divide it by the measure of DF. that got me 12/9 which is equivalent to 1.333333.

Then I took the measure of EF which is 15 and multiplied it by the value of 1.3333333 from before.

That got me 20 which is the length of BC.

Hope this helps!!!!!

Good Luck!!!!!!

Answer:
BC = 20 cm

Step-by-step explanation:
We are given that:
triangle ABC is similar to triangle DEF
Therefore, the similarity ratio can be written as follows:
AB/DE = BC/EF = AC/DF
We are given that:
AC = 12 cm
EF = 15 cm
DF = 9 cm
and we want to find the length of BC

We will substitute with the givens in the above relation to get BC as follows:
BC/EF = AC/DF
BC/15 = 12/9
9BC = 15*12
9BC = 180
BC = 180/9
BC = 20 cm

Hope this helps :)
