How did technological advancements change manufacturing methods during the industrial revolution

So before it was about creativity... Everything, each product was different, each was special. Then came technological advancements and then there were all the same. More and more buildings for manufacturing were built and people came, mostly women and children and each were assigned a task. So one would be in charge of using the cotton gin to take out all the seeds, another would weave, etc... Manufacturing increased because it was faster and easier yet they were all the same product nothing quite unique.

People went from manufacturing one object at a time by hand to manufacturing many objects in factories.
