a chemical change creates a new substance and energy is either given off or absorbed. in a Physical change the matter of the substance changes but not the arrangement of atoms. The arrangement of atoms changes in a chemical change

in a substance doesn't change
what the substance is. In a
chemical
change is
where there is a
chemical reaction
, a new substance is formed and energy is either given off or absorbed.
