The bases of a trapezoid are 11 meters and 14 meters. It’s height is 10 meters. What is the area of the trapezoid

Formula for area of a trapezoid: a = [(b1 + b2)/2] x h

Applied:

a = [(11 + 14)/2] x 10
a = [25/2] x 10
a = 12.5 x 10
a = 125

The area of the trapezoid is 125 meters squared.
