Hello!

The formula for area of a circle is
\pi r^(2)

\pi is 3.14 (which is 22/7), and r stand for the radius, which is half of the diameter. If the diameter is 28 cm, the radius is 14 cm.

\pi 14^(2)

\pi (196)
616

Answer:
Approximately 616 cm
^(2).

Hope this helps!
